Call wildlife rescue for help with tangled birds

Birds can get tangled in the fishing line and it can stop them from being able to move or feed and birds can get caught on branches, according to the Wildlife Arc Society.

The society advises anyone finding a tangled bird not to cut the line.

"Cutting the line leaves the animal attached to the line.

"The line can tighten and cut into the flesh risking infection and even cause limb loss and death."

Anyone finding a bird is asked to call Wildlife Arc on 4325 0666.
